Add more wing and you go faster in the corners but slower down the straights - but F1 engineers want both. And there have been some genius ideas to try and get both upsides. But none as simple and clever as the F-Duct - an innovation by McLaren in 2010. You may have heard about this before, but today we’re going explain some things about the F duct that you may not know. McLaren was the centre of attention in 2010 when they turned up to pre-season testing with something no one saw coming. It was a device known internally as Project RW80 but you probably know it as something
