NASCAR’s Damage Vehicle Policy

Did you know that if a car gets wrecked in a NASCAR race, the team has a time limit on how long they can work to fix the car? Not only that, but then the car has to be fast enough to continue the race. Matt Faulkner explains why NASCAR instituted the Damage Vehicle Policy (DVP), and provides examples of wrecked cars either being able to continue racing or told to go home.
