Aston Martin have officially announced the signing of legendary Formula 1 engineer Adrian Newey. Newey, who has been the chief designer of the last three championship-winning cars in F1 for Red Bull, will start in Silverstone on March 1st, having ended his tenure with the Red Bull F1-team in May. The Briton was pursued by Ferrari and McLaren among other teams, but has opted to join Lawrence Stroll’s side as ‘Managing Technical Partner’, also becoming a shareholder in the team.
