In an alternate reality we would have found out by now if the Formula 1 grid will soon get a new team. But whether the answer arrived in June as planned, comes this month or even later, there doesn’t seem to be any world in which all the major stakeholders actually think it’s a good idea. The process is at least coming to an end.
